Tracy Marcellino Aubert and Tiffany Hendryx of Blood Sweat + Butter are sisters, culinary punks and curators of a good party. They seek to bring people together for a shared experience using food as the conduit. Authenticity, playfulness and innovation fuel their passion. Taking inspiration from design to art to fashion, they put great care into building an environment to foster an out-of-the-ordinary experience.

While Tracy came up in the private cheffing and high-end catering world in San Francisco working as a private chef as well as for Taste, one of the largest catering companies in the bay area, Tiffany was hosting an underground supper club in Barcelona. When the sisters finally found themselves in the same city after 18 years apart, they immediately set forth building Blood, Sweat and Butter together based on their love of cooking together.

Some Event Highlights:

A Mermaid-themed pool party for the collaboration between artist Bill Cunningham and Rodin, Capitol Record’s private concert with Andrea Boccelli, and The Pritzker Emerging Genuis Environmental Awards Dinner which highlighted sustainability, as well as intimate private dinner parties for Hollywood’s elite and art world mavens.

Our Practices

Safety

Rest assured that we are taking our already high food safety standards to pandemic level practices.  We follow all CDC guidelines and use masks and gloves for our deliveries.  We wash our hands religiously (as we always do) and so does our team.  

Sustainable Packaging

We invest in the best quality compostable packaging we can find which we source through Good Start Packaging. They are continually working toward developing the safest products using fibers instead of plastics.  When we must, we use reusable plastic containers or recyclable aluminum.

Food Sourcing

Well-sourced food is not only more sustainable and healthier for ourselves and our planet, but is also the most delicious.  Some of our favorite providers include: McGrath Family Farms, Harry’s Berrys, Rocky Free Range Chicken, Faroe Island Salmon, Organic Strauss Dairy, Organic Stumptown Coffee and Rick’s Produce.
